Saturday afternoon we packed up the kids to go see the balloons. Hadn't ever been to Nasa's festival and didn't really know what to expect. Coop not that excited, but he was very excited to try out his new double stroller - the epitome of parenthood. Although, really prepared 'rents would have figured out how to use it better.
Greg sat with Meg and waited for all the balloons to land while Momma fed Coop - hidden behind the stroller... until all the other people started moving our way. Man, I'm like a hippie!
The rest of the festival was pretty lame to say the least. They had some of the buildings open which Meg might enjoy next year. There was a tram you could ride around the complex, but when you have a stroller, makes that a little difficult. Meg was a fan of the kettle corn, however. When she could get it away from her momma that is!
Bubba laid on the grass and hung out.
While Momma played with the camera.
We really left about the time it was starting to get good. I would say should go later in the evening. It's a full weekend thing, but the balloons were really the events to plan around.
This would be the happy dance when we saw the balloon with the "upabas" (stars... up above the world so high... get it?). Greg thought the dance was pretty cute.
