My apologies to the 5 readers of this blog, but seeing as how the biggest fans are the great-grandparents, I'm sure you can forgive me for the plethora of pictures of their family.
Great Nanny and Pa's house is full of lots of Christmas treasures for the grandkids to see (aka get screamed at for repeatedly trying to touch). However, Great Nanny decided she was ready to share her Christmas treasures and gave out many of them to the kids and grandkids. Greg was the proud recipient of the oldest Santa from his childhood. And I ended up with the bigest one it seems. Treasures for many years to come I'm sure.
Aunt Kathy is always ready to see the babies. This was Alexis' first visit with many of the family as she wasn't around last Christmas.
Gaye and Tyler
Uncle Mark and Kara watching the men prepare a new Christmas supper tradition of steaks! These meat loving Baggetts are alright with this new plan I think.
Cooper, as usual, took some time to warm up to everyone. But okay with Nanny and Pa - everytime he would get adjusted, more family members would show up, and he would become clingy again.
Santa always manages to find everyone in Oklahoma, and this year, he renewed the previous tradition of coming in on the roof. We knew he was there when we heard the sleighbells of all the reindeer.
Meghan was very excited about the prospect of Santa - helped out by cousin Katie. However, this year, the 6'4" Santa towering over her was a little intimidating I think. She wanted nothing to do with actually sitting in his lap. That's okay though since we got to see Santa 2 other times - those were successful.
Meghan was not the exception as Lexi wasn't a fan either...
but a fan of opening the presents!
Coop was barely a fan. Did I mention that all members of the Baggett family from little...
to big... (age wise I'm sure!)
to tall... :) and all in between sit on Santa's lap.
The infamous Uncle Barry - a well known fact that Meghan loves her Barry.
Coop and the Christmas village
Meg and Tyler - then again... Meg just loves men of all kinds I think. A definite preference.
No resemblance at all! :)
Dana and Bill
Naked breakfast donuts - who could beat that?
One last big hug before hitting the road home... See that wall of Santas in the background?
They have now been distributed out! So sad.Did I mention that this year we made everything a little simpler? Seemingly easier as we weren't going to drive around as we have before... off to drive home for a week. Only other trip planned was to Katy for Christmas morning...
Isn't peace one of the themes of the season?
