Three Weeks Old

Mr. Cooper you are growing so fast! Hard to believe you've already outgrown some of your clothes, but Mommy is going to have to retire some of your newborn outfits. Sorry to tell ya, but you've already started having your first acne - still pretty perfect though.
You finally lost your cord, and we got to see your little belly button. Your daddy yelled the other morning "Has his belly always been this huge?" To which I said, "Yes!" It is quite impressive actually. Your face is getting a little rounder too but still skinny little legs.
Don't tell the SIDS police, but we do let you sleep on your tummy sometimes. Not at night and usually not supervised... especially if you are just unable to get comfortable. You sometimes still sleep in our bed for short amounts of time early AM and some naps... hard to do so with you so noisy!
You like to be held and cuddled as much as possible. You usually only fuss to be changed (which seems to be all the time!) and to eat (also all the time!) - but sometimes it seems you just want to be held. Eating better - Mommy is figuring out she just has to try everything to wake you up in the process. Set you down, change you, swaddle you... you sure are spitting up a lot!

You are holding your head up better but still quite floppy! We do love your little scrunched up legs that just flop right to the sides... so cute! And your sister adores you - we try to keep her away from your face as much as possible... but she just wants to cover you in kisses! And look at your little body.
Daddy still sleeps with you on the couch until you wake up the first time in the night. I've told him multiple times just to lay you down in your playpen - which has been moved to the closet for which I apologize - but I think he secretly likes to have cuddle time. You usually wake up about 130 to 230 in the AM.. and then again 450 to 530 - depends on how much I can get you to focus on your task of eating. We are all definitely sleeping better with you in the closet - you are still so noisy! I say we - you know Daddy slept through everything anyways.

Still hanging out with Mommy during the day. We try to get out and do some stuff - for the most part you are pretty easy when we get out and sleep the whole time. Still haven't had to nurse when eating out yet - course we haven't done that much (for that reason :) ). At home we pretty much sit around all day. Recently got out the swing, and you tolerate that some. It's far from your favorite place though. It will definitely be more difficult when you are rolling around - hard to just throw you down whereever you land.

Daddy sure want to see you when you get home!

The dogs really pay you no mind at all. You were just sleeping on the couch, and Maggie pretty much trampled all over you - and you slept right through it - despite my yelling at her. And just like your big sister, you seem to be used to their loud barking as it doesn't bother you at all.
We love you, sweet boy! Your daddy says he feels the little family is pretty complete now - but we'll just have to wait and see :) .

so precious Bobbie! You know, Luke (my oldest) made a ton of noise when he slept too! He grunted like crazy and it made me crazy! We moved him out into the hall outside our bedroom so I could get some sleep ;-)...of course Todd never heard it, just like your hubby! ha! Give those sweet little ones a kiss for me!
